I could fairly say that my art career started with watercolours, which I'm doing already for over 12 years now after working with acrylics before. Where I first started with small paper sizes, with time my artworks became bigger and bigger to the maximum of 75×105 cm (unframed), which is quite unusual for watercolour. This because water does whatever it wants and dries super quick, so almost everything (the layers) needs to be done in just a few minutes; corrections are almost impossible. But when you can master this tricky medium, it is also very satisfying!
 

Over the years, I've learned myself all the techniques to work in a realistic style with watercolours: from big statement pieces to even small, more illustrative artworks. The transparent and delicate look has always drawn me towards this medium, which makes this form of art excellent to create a subtle yet personal touch in your interior. Since 2024 I'm also experimenting with gouache to create artworks that has the subtility of watercolour, but with the possibility of layering, like acrylics, to paint even more vibrant pieces. So, let's continue from here again!
